King Awarded Postgraduate Scholarship

University of Cincinnati harrier Randy King has been selected as a 2007-08 BIG EAST/Aéropostale Institutional Male Scholar-Athlete award winner, providing him $2,000 toward graduate studies. A winner is selected from each of the 16 BIG EAST institutions with an overall winner earning a $4,000 scholarship.

Paced by senior John Dixon (Fairfield, OH), Cincinnati's men's cross country team finished eighth out of 14 teams at the 2007 BIG EAST Conference championships. Dixon crossed the tape in 37th place with a time of 24:50 over the 8,000-meter course at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
