Summer 2008:
Playing for the Lima Locos of the Great Lakes League for the second straight summer.
2008 Season (Sophomore):
Came on strong in last five starts of year, posting a 3-1 record and a 2.43 ERA. Struck out 15 in 23.1 innings during span.
Matched career-high for third time in season with 6.1 strong innings against USF in BIG EAST Championship (5/23).
Winning pitcher in series clinching victory against Rutgers (5/4). Pitched career-long 6.1 innings, allowing two runs and striking out six in outing.
Earned first win of season with career-high seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings against Marshall (3/5).
Posted a 1-1 record and a 2.41 ERA in four BIG EAST appearances.

Named to all-league second team after leading GLCSL with 50 strikeouts; posted a 3-1 record and a 2.66 ERA in nine starts; limited opponents to a .233 batting average.
2007 Season (Freshman):
Made 14 appearances, including first-ever start against Morehead State (5/2). Earned win vs. Eagles with four solid innings.
Posted career-high three strikeotus in 1.1 innings against Villanova (4/28).
Tallied 15 strikeouts in 21 innings of work.
High School: A second team All-Ohio selection as a senior at Wapakoneta High ... named conference, district and county player of the year in 2006 ... a three-time all-conference selection ... tabbed MVP of Western Buckeye League All-Star Game ... holds school record for career wins (17) and lowest ERA (2.01), along with single season marks for stikeouts (99) and ERA (0.92) ... holds the second longest streak in Ohio with 34 consecutive scoreless innings.
