Basketball Legend Oscar Robertson to be Honored as 2008 National Pathfinder Award Recipient

4/28/2008 - Oscar Robertson, basketball legend and advocate for organ donation on behalf of the National Kidney Foundation, will be honored with the 2008 National Pathfinder Award at the annual Pathfinder Awards Banquet on Sunday, June 29 at Conseco Fieldhouse. The Pathfinder Awards annually recognize individuals for their contributions and dedication to youth. (more)

Men's Basketball Inks Two for 2008-09 Season 4/25/2008 - University of Cincinnati head men's basketball coach Mick Cronin announced the signing of freshman guard Dion Dixon (Chicago, IL/Crane High School) and Steven Toyloy, (West Palm Beach, FL/Miami-Dade CC), a junior college center from Miami-Dade Community College. The duo will join the Bearcats for the 2008-09 season. (more)

UC Men's Basketball Closes Year with Awards Banquet 4/9/2008 - The University of Cincinnati men's basketball team concluded its 2007-08 season with its annual Awards Banquet on campus in the Great Hall at the Tangeman University Center. Sophomore guard Deonta Vaughn earned four of the team awards, including the Oscar Robertson Award and the WXIX-cellence Award. (more)
