FOOTBALL TICKETS
2007 Football Student Ticket Policy
The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics would like to thank all students who took part in the first football ticket distribution (Louisville) and would like to remind all UC students of the new policies for Nippert Stadium and the allot¬ment of 6,000 student seats per game for the balance of the 2007 football season.

The first football student ticket distribution saw more than 1,100 UC students on hand in Victory Plaza at sunrise, waiting in line for tickets. Many camped out in this new area of campus, launching a new UC tradition. Head football coach Brian Kelly delivered Donatos Pizza to the students on Tuesday evening as the vigil for UC-Louisville tickets began.

The next two distribution dates for student football tickets are October 24 for the Connecticut game and November 7 for the regular season home finale against West Virginia.

Students with a valid UC Student ID will have the opportunity to pick up one of the 4,000 student advance tickets beginning at 8 a.m. on each date.

Additionally, 1,000 student advance tickets will be distributed online at www.CATSTIX.com beginning at 8 a.m. on October 24 and November 7. Again, only one (1) ticket per UC Student ID will be distributed.

Online tickets for the UC/Louisville game were exhausted in less than eight (8) minutes. To insure your ability to claim a UC student ticket, it is strongly encouraged that students either plan to be in line on the mornings of October 24 and November 7 -or- be a part of the game day distribution of 500 UC student tickets at Gate No. 3 on the specific date of the game.

Please know that students who use the online method of ticket acquisition are subject to technical issues which may be out of the control of Cincinnati Department of Athletics.

Student Guest Tickets for both Connecticut and West Virginia are limited to 500, with a limit of two (2) tickets per UC Student ID. These tickets are priced at $5 each and are available for advance purchase only and are NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE. (want to keep student ticket paragraphs together.

The final mode of distribution will be on the game days, November 10 for Connecticut and November 17 for West Virginia. A total of 500 game day student admissions will be allocated via the dedicated turnstiles for student admission at Gate No. 3. Once the capacity of the student section has been admitted, no additional students will be admitted without a reserved or general admission ticket. Admission will be given to these students via turnstile only with no re-entry. This gate will open 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

Please keep in mind that UC student tickets are not-transferable to non-students. A valid UC ID must be presented to the usher along with the student ticket for admission to the stadium. Any patron trying to use a student ticket for admission without also having a valid UC Student ID will not be admitted to Nippert Stadium.

On game day, any students without an advance ticket must enter the facility through a newly created STUDENT-ONLY entrance located at Gate No. 3, in the southeast corner of the facility. This gate is adjacent to the lower east side of Dieterle Hall and Varsity Village.

UC students, or their guests, with an advance ticket may enter at any of the facility's six (6) gates, but still must show a valid UC Student ID along with the ticket.

Per a preseason agreement between UC and Cincinnati State, CSC students have an allotment of tickets which were sent to their campus for the balance of the 2007 season. These tickets are being distributed by Cincinnati State College via a lottery system. These tickets are not part of the UC student sections inside of Nippert Stadium. Students should contact the Cincinnati State Athletics/Student Activities help line at 513-569-1555 for more information.

Kick-off for the Louisville game will be at 7 p.m. Kick times for the remaining two home games are yet to be determined and are subject to the 12-day out selection process by the BIG EAST Confer¬ence and the ESPN family of networks. There is also the possibility that some times will not be announced until six days prior to the date of the game.
